Baby feeding/hunger cues
Did you know your baby uses special cues or signs to let you know when they are hungry of full?
Cues for hunger can look like:
Making sucking noises
Keeping hands near the lips or sucking on their fist
Sticking the tongue out
Turning the head to look for food (rooting)
Cues for being full can look like:
Turning away from feeding
Sucking slower or stop sucking
Relaxing arms and hands
Falling asleep
